Dragon Rocks (DR) is the name used here for an unnamed bluff on a rhyolite dome in the Sutter Buttes. DR is about 700 feet across and about 275 feet tall.
DR is barely discernable with the naked eye from Pass Road. The nearest public viewing points are along Pass Road with the closest point being 1.1 miles from DR.
DR is the most photographed cairn of any shown here and has been the subject of considerable time lapse for 8 years.
